About Linfield House

Linfield House is a residential and nursing care home that includes two dementia suites. We promote independent living, providing residents with the support and person-centred care that they need to flourish.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Linfield House team as a Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for creating a varied and stimulating programme of activities to encourage residents to feel a sense of occupation and purpose. You will be expected to plan and organise your own workload and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ideally, the person in this position will use the individual's life history creatively to inform the wellbeing programme. In addition to promoting person-centered care in a holistic manner, you will promote equality, diversity, accessibility and inclusion as well as adding value to the lives of individuals based on the individual's social and recreational needs identified during the care planning process.

In this role, we are seeking someone who brings reliability, commitment, integrity, passion, and enthusiasm. The person should be themselves, have fun, and take ownership of all aspects of the role. Due to the nature of this role, the role would involve some evening and weekend working.
