An exciting opportunity exists for Graduate Physical Activity Leader to join our team. You will embark on a 21-month programme that will prepare you for your career in sport, physical activity, and wellbeing participation.

Joining our core team, you will apply your graduate knowledge and experience to enable more students, to become more active, more often. This will involve a wide range of activities including, taking responsibility for duty management of a leisure facility, developing your instructional skills and leading social and participatory sessions. You will be able to engage, enthuse and motivate students, becoming capable of both offering 1-1 coaching and promoting ‘getting active’ to large groups.

As a great team member, you will lead by example and motivate others to deliver great customer service. We expect that you work flexibly and commit to a rolling rota that will include early, late and weekend cover.

You will work with our established managers to agree personal objectives and a programme of work and learning that will enable you to achieve your career goals. Along the way you will contribute your ideas, enthusiasm, and creativity to increase participation. You will be supported to develop and evaluate a live project to increase levels of participation. Consequently, a readiness to learn is equally as important as prior experience in sport and participation. You will be curious as to why others don’t get involved in sport, physical activity, and wellbeing, and will apply your insight to grow participation.

In carrying out this role you will be equipped with the relevant skills and experience to take the next steps on your chosen career path.

We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
