Are you looking for a new challenge and a genuinely rewarding job? We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our expert team.

Stopover provides Brighton & Hove and West Sussex’s only female-specific young person’s housing and support through trauma-informed care.

You will be working in our Brighton and Hove service, which provides a pathway through high, medium, and low-level support. The role will be based at our intensive support project, whilst also providing senior oversight for Support Workers working in our low-level support mother and baby projects.

You will:

- Be committed to fostering positive professional relationships with the young women.
- Have an understanding of the effects of early trauma on young women.
- Be able to provide on-going support through the transition within the Stopover accommodation pathway.
- Provide senior support to and oversight of the mother and baby accommodation team.

In return we offer:

- Ongoing support and training.
- Reflective practice with external facilitator.
- Restorative circles with external facilitator.
- Mindfulness, resilience, and self-care with an external psychotherapist.
- Generous annual leave allowance.
