The Company


Established over 50 years ago, SUZOHAPP (UK) provides their customers with innovative solutions to make cash-handling as simple and cost-effective as possible.

The Challenge


We caught up with Service Manager, Andy Kershaw, who has complete involvement in the company’s recruitment process. He­ spoke about one of SUZOHAPP’s biggest recruitment challenges; the costs associated with recruiting through agencies.

We had an issue with agencies. I found them to be really expensive when the results were variable. Advertising roles using offline sources, such as newspapers just wasn’t attracting candidates anymore so I wasn’t really sure what to do.

We’d also just landed a big contract and needed to recruit eight new Service Engineers to allow us to carry it out. However, the agencies I’d spoken to had quoted me about £30,000 for the project, which is obviously a lot of money.”

The Solution

The Results
