How Webrecruit partnered with the Northern Irish organisation to reduce its recruitment administration.
USEL is Northern Ireland’s largest supporter of people with disabilities and health conditions into employment and operates a social enterprise business model with charitable status. They exist solely to help people with disabilities and health-related conditions move into and sustain employment.
Currently, they turnover approximately £7m and directly employ over 130 staff, based across Northern Ireland in their regional offices in Belfast, Londonderry, Portadown and Omagh.
USEL found recruitment administration their biggest challenge. This included, advertising, collation of applications, candidate management, shortlisting and appointing.
“We decided that we needed a more efficient solution to meet the needs of our business as the number of vacancies was increasing year on year. We wanted an easier solution that allowed candidates to apply online instead of completing a manual application form.”
USEL recognised that introducing recruitment technology would help them to reduce their recruitment administration. Webrecruit introduced its own Applicant Tracking System, Webrecruit ATS, to USEL and explained how it could benefit the organisation.

USEL noticed a drastic reduction in their recruitment administration due to more efficient internal recruitment processes and candidate management functionality, such as shortlisting and automated candidate email communications. Using Webrecruit ATS has freed up more time for USEL’s employees.
