NERARS Appointment

Webrecruit Appointed as Recruitment Services Supplier to Universities across England

The Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) has appointed Webrecruit, the leader of innovation and transformation in the recruitment industry, as one of the suppliers for the Consortium’s National Education Recruitment Advertising & Resourcing (NERARS) Framework, from January 2019.

SUPC, a purchasing organisation for the Further and Higher Education sectors, named Webrecruit as one of its suppliers of recruitment advertising and additional recruitment services for colleges and universities within the Consortium.

The NERARS Agreement will help universities and colleges stand out from the crowd when it comes to recruiting staff. The agreement covers advertisement creation and production, typesetting and copywriting, media buying, art direction, brand management and, where required, full creative services for new advertising campaigns.

In addition to these traditional recruitment products and services, NERARS also offers innovative service options for candidate generation, employer branding, websites and micro-sites, digital creative services and social media services.

Webrecruit’s innovative approach to candidate generation will provide members of the Consortium with a cost-effective alternative to more traditional methods of talent attraction and recruitment. Its solutions incorporate the latest in digital advertising, technology, social media and jobseeker behavioural trends to maximise exposure and brand awareness.

Having worked with many Further and Higher Education institutions across the UK, Webrecruit’s leadership team has in-depth knowledge of the sector, its challenges and media buying options.

“We’re delighted to be appointed as a supplier for the NERARS Agreement. We’ve been working tirelessly over the past few years further developing our recruitment advertising offering to deliver as much value as possible to our clients and we feel that our solutions will be of enormous benefit to the educational institutions within SUPC. We look forward to providing them with an alternative, exciting solution to traditional recruitment methodologies.” – David Jones, Managing Director, Webrecruit.

“We’re pleased to welcome Webrecruit to the framework and excited to see this organisation bringing innovative and fresh offerings to the Higher Education sector.” – Jayne Thorn, Category Manager, Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium.

The NERARS Agreement commences from January 2019 and will run for four years. For further information on NERARS, visit SUPC.ac.uk.
